The short term deposit is an operation by which foreign goods are introduced in Italy through the issue of normal T1 voucher by a forwarding agent. The “short term deposit” is valid for a 20 days period only, while the goods that are stored for a longer period are under the “long term deposit”.
Indefinite payment postponment of VAT & CUSTOM duty at import
As a custom bonded warehouse, Parodi enables its customers to benefit of an indefinite payment postponement of both VAT and custom duty at import, paying them only while the goods will actually be custom cleared and physically put into the market.
